| A meeting of the Central Council of Lahore Division Sarafa & Jewellers Association was held on October 2, 1994 at National Hotel, Abbot Road, Lahore, to hold mid-term election of President, Lahore Division Sarafa & Jewellers Association.
The meeting expressed dissatisfaction over the reply sent by President Haji Muhammad Afzal and approved his removal. Haji Mushtaq Ahmad, senior Vice-president, LD&SJA, was asked to assume the responsibilities on temporary basis and Mr Dilawar Ali, Joint Secretary, was nominated senior Vice-president, while Mr Tariq Mahmood was requested to work on the post of Joint Secretary.
